Colourcakes
Sorry for the hiatus my lovely followers, work got in the way of my cupcake baking. But today I finally got in some time to make colourful yummy creations!
What you need:
White cake mix
Sugar
Food colouring
Vanilla Buttercream frosting
Sprinkles
Marshmallow fluff
Make your cupcakes following the directions on the cake mix box. I added about a 1/2 cup of sprinkles to the batter, to have some colour throughout the cupcakes. Don’t forget to cool your cupcakes completely before you frost, or your frosting will melt. Yuck.
Vanilla Buttercream Marshmallow Frosting
1 cup butter
2 cups icing sugar
2 cups marshmallow fluff
1 tbsp vanilla
2 tbsp milk
I decided to try a different frosting recipe. First you make your frosting just like you would for buttercream. Beat your butter until creamy and then add 2 cups of the marshmallow fluff (you know the stuff for sundae toppings). Add the icing sugar, 1 cup at a time or it will go everywhere and add your vanilla and milk. Beat until light, fluffy but stiff. You want your buttercream frosting to be able to keep its shape. You can add more milk if you find your frosting too stiff.
Then I decorated my cupcakes with the frosting and some coloured sugar. I just put some sugar in 3 separate sandwich bags. and I put in about 4 drops of food colouring (any colour of your choice) I used, pink, blue and yellowish green (the neon colours). Then you just mix the food colouring into the sugar and sprinkle on top of your cucpakes!

Boston Cream Pie Cupcakes

What you need:

 • Yellow Cake Mix
 • Chocolate Frosting
 • 1 pkg. Instant Vanilla Pudding
 • 1 cup Cool Whip

Make your cupcakes following the directions on the box. Cool your cupcakes completely. Since I got myself some piping bags, I used tip 4 to fill the cupcakes with the filling.

Filling:

 • 1 pkg. Instant Vanilla Pudding
 • 1 cup cold milk
 • 1 cup thawed Cool Whip

Whisk your pudding mixture until creamy and thick, fill your piping bag and using tip 4 fill your cupcakes. Wipe off any excess that comes out.

For the frosting, melt about a 1 1/2 cups of the chocolate frosting in the microwave until smooth, then dip your cupcakes and dripped the excess frosting off.

Enjoy <3
